Well he's better than just about everyone else that we have in our rotation (except for Jason and Shawn).. At least he gives us a chance to win unlike Redding, Hanrahan, etc

That only points out the sad state of our rotation...not how good Chico is. Add Lannan to the small rotation of Hill and Bergmann and you'll see that we may need 2 out of free agency/trades. JP may be back, though.

Truly, though, I'd like Chico to end up being a Glavine-type eventually. That's as optimistic as I can get there. :). He is plenty young.

Great performance by Matty. Now it's up to the bullpen.

Rauch isn't a groudball pitch tho. he's a overpowering pitcher.

Did anyone else notice how dejected that FOX announcer was when he said, "Two outs".

Yep, they both are rooting heavily for the Phillies to come back.. Don't you notice how he keeps mentioning that the Phillies have the most comebacks in all of baseball?

haha..you sound like you've never listened to a national broadcast before. They aren't fans of either team. They're fans of drama. Drama sells. And, like it or not, we are playing the spoiler role right now.

Can someone explain to me the logic of putting in Langerhans for Logan?

The FOX announcers have also repeatedly talked about "if the Phillies win their final two games..."

"If the Phillies lose their final two games" has never been discussed as a possibility.

I asked the same thing.  He was double switched out of the game.
