I want to do the Gameday thread tonight but I need to go pick up carry out right now, any chance I can convince everyone to pause the game for about 30 minutes?

Why the HELL do they do that!? >:( That's exactly why, despite my wanting to do so, I don't bother listening to the radio feed as I watch on TV.

Actually, I have that totally backwards, but whatever.

I always assumed it was behind for me because I'm streaming over AT&T 3G and there was some lag with buffering and things.

Makes it hard to beat the turtle to post the :w: after the last out

Also, excuse my ignorance...but when did the Marlins change their team name to Miami? Was it this year?

man, there is no way to watch Baseball online outside of paying for MLB.tv.

this sucks.
Did The Chief DELETE the Restaurants that Show Nationals Games sticky thread?  It was created in 2005, when Angelos had no deal with cable and DirecTV was the only carrier.  The thread was a multi-state list, including South Carolina.  Don't know if West VA was listed.

Any restaurant or sports bar with Direct TV and MLB Extra Innings should have it.  ASK the manager to change the channel to the Nationals game.  Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings, were two chains that had it everywhere... trying to remember the others.

I hate that FP is advocating all of our starters throwing under 100 pitches.

More of the company line being spewed.

Good first inning. Much better then the one that we had last night. Hopefully the Nats can get the bats swinging early and hold their own fate.

I was wrong, the Marlins new uniforms are very nice. I'd make the logo on the sleeve a bit smaller.. but I'm impressed.

Yeah, I was actually thinking about how the radio feed is usually ahead of the TV broadcast, which makes it impossible to sync up since there's no easily available equivalent of DVR technology for the radio.

Good first inning, Det!

I think it's funny how despite growing a beard, Detwiler still looks like he's about 13 years old since his beard is so light blond.

For the sake of excitement and integrity I don't know if the gameday thread is the route to go. What fun is it if you know whats going to happen before they report it haha.

I don't know if Glory Days is everywhere, but that's a place where it's really easy to watch pretty much any televised sporting event.  Too bad the food is so mediocre.

I think MLB.tv allows you to use the radio feed for audio instead of MASN's audio and syncs them up, but only for live games.  It doesn't seem to work for archived streams.

Nats have had a tendency to swing at crap this year.
