I think I am finally over them...that organization is pitiful top to bottom.  Almost 20 yrs of losing and two straight collapses like that, almost Cub worthy.

on the other hand

C'mon FP, "longest HR in PA"....ever hear of a guy named Stargell???

Me too ...   I've said it before ... the Bream thing killed me.    I also was thinking of Pops over the right field roof at Forbes.   Stuart used to hit mammoth HR's as well.

That would be crazy!

Given his pitch count so far...it likely would be...

I'm sure Ralph Kiner and Mike Schmidt hit some tape measure bombs in Pennsylvania as well.

If they don't fire Hurdle after two straight 0 for August seasons, I'll think Dan Snyder bought an ownership share

Welcome.    What time is it in Bermuda?
A little after 10.  Been amusing myself watching the cruise ship passengers.  I love Americans.  :-)

Anyway - these Nats eh?  I feel like a glory hunter!

That's awesome.  That city deserves at least one team that sucks considering all the success the other teams have (and how annoying Pittsburgh fans that live in this area are).

Be nice.   We ain't all like that.   :)    I think that those of us who remember the bad old days aren't as annoying as some of the young'uns.

The Braves announcers are ignorant freaks.

They just did a little thing about Comeback Player of the Year.  The four possibilities were Medlen, Strasburg, Posey and LaRoche.  The play by play idiot eliminated Strasburg ("If you'd play the whole year, maybe") and LaRoche ("I love LaRoche but no.")  Then he says in order to win CPoY you have to have comeback from an injury and not just comeback from a bad season.

Idiot.

Well I agree with them on Stras.  Edit: whoops read that as if you'd played a whole year (before injury) which would be a fair point

Not a patch on the Phillie fans.  Surprised last night just how obnoxious they could be.

Just seeing all of the Steelers and Pens crap all over the cars in Southern Maryland is enough to annoy me.  I am that easily annoyed.
