The young Astros forget to throw to 1B so Werth takes 3B... 2 out.
 :run:

Except that Carlos Lee is damn near as old as Blue!     :old:

Too far to throw, makes his shoulder hurt I would guess.

Feeling like we're going to get to this guy. Maybe tonight's the night we give jz a 5 spot to play with.

FINALLY, Zim-with-2-N's has a chance to provide his own run support!
 :ballbat:

He failed so if he doesn't win this game it's all his fault.

I know there will be more bad days ahead for the Nats, but damn, I'm so glad I'm not a 'stros fan.

Hey, reminds me we had a couple of former 'stros fans join the forum this year, wonder if they are still around.

What team did they defect to?

Not to my knowledge. And Dierks is good. Hes got some good songs. Worth going to that game.

This should be a really interesting interview. I bet Mike gives us some grade A front office secrets.

He really is, but I'd rather have an awkward competent GM than a guy with a great personality who can't build a team.

Zimmerman's throwing motion looks awkward.

"Mike, how awkward was it when you John told you he wanted to be traded and you laughed at his face? Have to have been awkward."

The catcher had to throw to 1B because the 3rd strike was dropped.  He forgot, the batter ran to 1st, while Werth alertly ran to 3B, knowing they had to throw to 1st, which he did... late, but in time

Rizzo desperately wants to drop a 'beef' line in describing the pitching staff.

Oh, FP with the tough question about extending Zimmermann.

RZO dodges the question by calling 3 years a long time and dropping a bunch of jargon such as "two way street".

Very true. He has gotten a little better on the mic
