but he shouldnt be batting 3rd, he should be dropped to 7th - ahead of Kearns - until he raises his avg to at least .280

He should at least be moved out of the clutch spot in the lineup. Definitely.

When the hell is Manny going to make the move? How many more losses is he willing to sacrifice just to cater to Ryan?  He needs to do what is right for the team.

I felt bad for Beltran for a while because he was easily one of the top 15 players in the league while w/ the Royals, but got next to no recognition.

St-Claire is not superman. He can't make bad pitchers into Johan Santana and Jake Peavy. Tim Reddding had an ERA over 6.00 last year in AAA Columbus, and when he got here he was our most reliable starter in the second half of the season. Do you think it's because he suddenly just picked it up? No, St-Claire had a plan, and Redding followed it to a tee. When it comes to preparing pitchers for games, St-Claire is one of the best. He is the reason why our rotation is overachieving this year.

Let's just get out of this inning and give ourselves at least a small chance.

Time for a 2-out base knock from Church.  :?

Should have never got rid of Church.  He'll hit at least 40 points higher than Milledge, and save us a ton of the runs Milledge will give up in the field.

I have been advocating the release of Colome/King since the beginning of the season. Evidently the front office is more worried about not hurting the feelings of a few guys as opposed to winning baseball games.

Why not try to go after free agents like Sosa or David Wells ?

Game over. Just another typical frustrating loss.

The Mets own us.

that 6th inning was aggravating as hell with those infield hits and then zimmerman's evil twin with the error.

the mutts are dominating us.

2k6 is now with an unbelievable 12 straight losses...it's really becoming impressive.

Mets own us, but lets be honest, they are light years ahead in terms of talent, experience, organisation, payroll and overall season expectations/chances, so should we be surprised that the continually nag slap us?

Then again, if we follow that theory, then we shouldn't expect to win any more games this year...
