I really wish Holliday was just a bit more enthusiastic. Did you all hear him on that Milledge SB? That was pretty bad.
I like Johnnie but yeah he needs to get amped up a little bit more.

Keep doing that every time he records an out and see if it works.

Is Sutton dumb or what? He says Uggla is too good of a hitter to keep hitting like this. I disagree.  He is like a worse version of Brad Wilkerson.

Has Kearns had a hit with runners on base yet?

3 hits and 8 walks with men on

Kearns and Jose Guillen circa 2005 are the exact same player.

great arm, warning track power(if that), can't do anything other than hit weak grounders when it is time to drive in runners in scoring position.

at least Guillen was good for an entertaining quote or two here and there.

Uggla is a huge choker, but he's a hell of a lot better than Wilkerson.  Pass me whatever you're smoking.

Are you crapting me?  At least Guillen hit ~20 homers and quite a few doubles.  Kearns is a total dud.  Right now, he's hitting more like 2005 Guzman.

Just ask NatsAddict, he'll tell you how truly awful Uggla is.

If you can throw a breaking ball you can get that bum out every time.  He's so easy to pitch to.

3 hits and 8 walks with men on

let him bat leadoff and draw all those walks.  he should be removed from any spot in the order that is heavily depended on to drive in runs.

kearns can bat 1st, 2nd, or 8th.

get him out of the middle of our order.

Uggla's definitely a dumbass, but he's a good mistake hitter (at least with the bases empty), which is more that can be said of Wilkerson.  He was a product of roids around 2004.  He's sucked ever since.

I'm talking more in terms of talent/physical skill than stats.

I still think he'll get to 20+. For homers, it's better to wait until the halfway point to assume where they'll get to; especially w/ everyday players.

Both players suck if you ask me. I was never a big Wilkerson fan when he was here.

I retract that.  Pena is the 2005 Guzman.

That was outside. Hope Shawn gets the same calls.  Man Pena is so much worse than he was last year.

Until he got pissed off and let it effect his performance with Willingham. It cost us the game at the time. Good thing NJ saved him.

i think wily mo was rushed back.

either that, or he just simply sucks and needs to be removed from our roster, asap.

I'm hoping it is the former, and I want to believe so.

but I'm worried that it just might be the latter.....
