Armbar?

Or Armbar?

I'll take #2, please.

Armbar, handlebar. Whatever. I'm going to look like I am from Orange County-- but only if the Nats win tonight.

It doesn't really matter whether they win or not.  No part of a Nats game is enjoyable anymore except the part when it ends.  We are all masochists.

True, I usually enjoy beating the Mets but even if we sweep them here I won't get excited one bit. This season is ruined.

I am kind of intrigued to see Martin pitch tonight although I have seen him pitch a little on TV the last few weeks.

I fully expect Martin to get shelled while Livan cruises to a complete game.

I was hoping the team would come out of the gates strong and I could pretend that the first half never happened. Kind of like a crappy half time speach from a movie. But then we got swept.

In excruciating fashion as well.

So why is Zimmerman sitting out with Harris at third and Ronnie Belliard at 2nd?

Because he's been playing good defense finally, and Riggleman lives in opposite world. Now we know that he was the one playing Harris and Belliard all this time.

Why don't we demote AH and bring up an extra reliever?

Well he's sucked (offensively) for the last two weeks and we're gonna lose anyway, so why not give him some rest?  I'm not sure whether I'm being serious or not.

His defense helped tons in that 11-3 loss last night.  Almost as much as Dunn's freebie solo jack

Now I'm sure I'm being serious.  Might as well give the players that are worth a damn some rest.  It's not like it can hurt the odds that much more.

Zimm definitely shows all the signs of needing a night off.  He's really frustrated at the plate right now.

where did you get the lineups? Why is Anderson Hernandez not playing anymore? I know he sucked but he is better than Belly.

Harris is not an infielder and he has stunk lately too both at the plate and in the field.

I think Rig is trying to throw these games on purpose.

RZ was flawlessly defensively yesterday and had the #1 Web Gem on Baseball Tonight.

In an 11-3 loss.

Let him sit.  What's it going to hurt?  Our chances of winning?  Har har.

What bothers me most is Harris and Belliard starting. Where is Hernandez at?

Can someone post the lineup too? I don't see it anywhere.

Riggleman wants to see "The Armbar."

I hope we manage at least one win in this series. My grandma and I live close by. She's a Mets fan and is quite the smack-talker

Hope Martin has a good outing tonight. I'm picking up a six-pack on the way home just in case

I get the line-ups sent to me now. But they are now on the NJ for your viewing pleasure.

This is the worst lineup I've ever seen.

Quote from:  Chico Harlan
Morgan - 8
Belliard - 4
Johnson - 3
Dunn - 7
Guzman - 6
Kearns - 9
Harris - 5
Bard - 2
Martin - 1

Because the best lineups we've had available have done so well?

Did you send the front office a complaint about not receiving the "apology" letter/e-mail?

I did and to make up for it, they sent me a dozen Joel Hanrahan autographed balls. Now I am pissed as ever.

They want Martin to fail :(

Too bad JD's first name isn't Jim, because I'm constantly reminded of the funniest SNL bit ever when I see his name.

Also, the guitarist from Faith No More was named Jim Martin.

maybe.

if it pays off Rig looks like a genius but if it blows up in his face and Kearns and Belliard hit into 5 DPs he will be crucified.
