No it's not new, just annoying.
It is. That's why I don't even really bother looking more than a day or so ahead. Everyone at work for the last few days, "OMG! 50 billions inches of ice and 200 mph winds, it's going to be a heck of a storm!" Now it's basically calling for rain, with 0.1-0.2" of ice at most possible. People get too riled up about winter weather.
Looks like Mount Snow in Southern Vermont may get 3 feet of it out of this one.
my co-workers in Chicago are panicking, grocery stores are being stripped bare, and those guys know snow.
Yup, my friend just called and said the Dominick's on Broadway was completely empty. Everyone is insane.
Weather.com currently has a high of 52 tomorrow with the hourly not dropping below 36 overnight, yet there is still a constant scroll about local closings
awesome so no snow ... although maryland basketball always plays well on snow days.
