True story here:

I've developed this strange superstition.

I keep watching the Nats on MLB Game Mix with Extra Innings rather than watch it on full screen.

Everything good that happened during the three-game win streak happened when I was watching with it.

Today, I thought, "eh, this is silly, I'll just watch it on full screen today and see what happens."

THAT.HAPPENED. I think I have to watch the Nats in like a 6"x6" box for the rest of the year. :(

Oh good.   Now Dibs and Bob are talking about how much money MLB is making and the cheap owners whining.

My boy is bored and I told him the Nats are on and he can watch the game.  I then added, we're tanking but you can watch it.  His response was a deadpan classic, "What's the point of watching?"

On the radio, Dave is suggesting that Riggleman should bring in a position player to pitch, in keeping with last nights Mets/Cards extra inning affair.

So true!  He's already sick w/ an allergy induced cold and feels like crap.  That's truly adding insult to injury.

There was short mention in the Post this morning that the bullpen is "too fresh", and needed work.  Batista's been pretty unreliable as well, so might as well give him as many innings as we can stand.

I want to see Dunn get up on the mound and pitch. He'd probably go all Burnett, turn his hat sideways and throw junk balls up to the hitters.

My kids have all left the house.  "Why aren't you watching the White Sox, Dad?"  "They're losing 7-0 in the third."  "What are you listening to?"  "The Washington Nationals on XM -- they're losing 10-0 in the 2nd."  My son laughed out loud, and said I was pathetic as he left the house to ride his bike to visit a friends house.

According to Nats radio, they want everyone to know that the correct information is that today is NOT Screech's birthday, its actually April 25.
