MASN's plate camera is off center or this ump is blind. According to gameday, it looks like this is a MASN issue

I would be shocked if they spend FA $$$ on anything but a Starter in the rotation. Morse at first if they don't sign Dunn.  The FA starters (Aces) will look at the Nats now that Stras won't be back for 1 plus seasons.  Look at who Boras has as FA starters next year and I would guess we sign one of his guys. Rizzo and Boras have a good relationship now and they will get a deal done.

That relationship is money in the bank. I love how they agreed on the Major League deal for Harper, but it doesn't start until 2011. Those are 2 super sharp fellows.

Holy hell, I have my first ignorer! I love you, whomever you are!

One? I somehow have gotten up to three. I imagine some are the White Sox trolls. Hell with them.

Is this Livan's first game since getting the extension or second?
First.

I have Zach Duke's autograph on my Pirates' Italian Day cap, so I'm a fan of his.

If that's all it takes to win you affections (in a strictly heterosexual way, of course), I'd have ignored you a long time ago.

As an aside, I hate two out rallies...

I hate to say it, but the parallels between the Nats and the Pirates are eerie right now. Either team with a few FA's would be playoff bound, with all that young position talent (althought the Pirates pen is a mess, and the Nats' is formidable.)

That camera is crap. It looks like it's right down the middle until I check out gameday.

Call the Lerners cheap all you want, but the Pirates live and die by revenue sharing. It's unfortunate but the Pirates are always going to be a small market team.

And then the guys the Nats spent money on in the bullpen were Walker, Bruney, and Batista. 1/3. Peralta was a minor league FA, Slaten was a waiver pickup, it's the cheap guys that really surprised.

3rd   G Jones doubled to deep left center, J Tabata and N Walker scored.

Nationals 1
Pirates     3

That's because they are small market. They probably barely make the top 25. Washington DC is in the top 10.

It was a heavy $3 million they spent on those three.  :?
