We must be getting desperate if AZ is making the gamethreads.

seriously, can we win a freaking series this afternoon? i was hoping for a sweep, but that was too much to ask for. never knew wins vs the marlins would be so difficult.

Of course not.  Now we're facing an actual major league pitcher in Scott Olsen. :?

And oh great, look at that, it's Tim Hudson vs. Chico in game 1 of that Braves series.  It just gets better and better.

We must be getting desperate if AZ is making the gamethreads.

well, we should win this game by 10 and Perez should throw a 2-hit shutout, Kearns should go 3-4 with a HR and 2 Doubles and Zimmerman should hit a monster 3-run Homer.

because we all know that the person who creates the game thread has a direct effect on the performance of all the players on the team.

...waits for someone to point out how chico went toe to toe with hudson with 8ip 1 run.

when the truth is that was a MIRAGE. chico will get lit up the second time, unlike hudson who will masterfully continue his domination of us.

It really doesn't even matter if Chico repeats that performance.  The Nats won't be able to get ANY runs against Tim Hudson, so nothing short of throwing out Jack Morris and hoping he gets another 10-inning shut out will give the Nats a fighting chance.

Then the Nats get Smoltz and Santana.

There's even been a totally different sound off Zimmerman's bat recently.

No excuse for that. Ryan had all damn day to make the throw.  Such a simple, short throw.  No excuse.  And it costs us a run.

Yet Manny wants to keep trotting RZ out every freaking game without giving him a day off.  Clueless.

That should have been the 3rd out with 0 runs scored.  Our pitchers have to be getting fed up with the piss poor defense behind them.

Awful, Milledge. Why in the freak is he swinging so early in the count?? Work the count. Olsen will blow up if you let him.
