Olsen gave up 9 hits in five innings + a bit of the sixth. Walker looked a little sharper to me.

It worked out for that inning which is what actually counts.

The two jumbotrons at Citi Field seem to compete with each other...one is in CF and the other in RF. I think that would get annoying after a while. I much prefer our one huge screen.

It would have been good to get that run back.

I trust Tyler Walker.  Am I the only one?  I don't think it was an awful move, but I think it was a little quick.  Lets get a couple here and save the Clip and Capps show.

It would be nice to win the series before playing the final game for once and then have a chance at the sweep

Now I think he's overmanaging. Playing matchup against Alex Cora in the 7th inning up by 4 runs?

Offhand, I'd have let Walker pitch another inning. So far, Slaten makes me nervous. Still about a third of the game to be played.

Slaten needs to go an inning or two.

Don't need to burn Clipp and Capps.

He's not managing for tonight, he's managing for the whole season. These guys need work and they need confidence. This team needs someone to step up to take the load off of Capps and Clippard.

Ugh.  How do you walk a guy hitting .162?

What does taking out Walker and putting in Slaten have anything to do with Capps and Clippard? Slaten pitched last night. Now Bruney is warming. Charming.

I would've taken my chances with Olsen for a bit longer.

Oh gods. Clippard's arm is going to fall off before the end of May.

Hate this bullpen use. Lefty relievers are there to face lefties. I know Slaten is not a pure lefty specialist, but it's just a waste of a lefty and sets up unfavorable matchups.
