Good point but there's still no excuse for Ayala just rolling over and blowing the game. It doesn't seem like a big run at the time because you are losing but when you score a run in the next inning that would have tied the game it proves to be a huge mistake.
But had that run not scored against Ayala, you can't assume that the same thing would have happened the next half inning when we got the run. It's just like when someone gets picked off, you can't assume that if a hit comes afterward, the same hit would have happened had that guy stayed on base. I know this stuff is obvious and basic knowledge, but it's good to remember.
