I bet we could trade Belliard to the D-Backs, now that Hudson is on the DL.

Bellys one of our best bats... Speak of the Devil, Ground rule baby

He is probably out all season with a broken wrist
I bet they really regret giving up FMF now.

All Lannan had to do was keep the freaking bat on his shoulder.

27 innings we have now gone without a run. That's the equivalent of going 3 whole games without scoring.

Looks like another wasted gem from Laanan.  Has this team no dignity?

or perhaps some of us actually realize that we actually play against real teams, and are capable of recognizing that on some days real teams will simply out play us, and pitchers will simply be dominant. and some of us are capable of giving simple credit for that on those days.

if we were facing a couple of bums and they shut us out like this, I'd be upset.

but we are not.

Rhinehart and Bynum with HRs for the Senators today, Lowrance is 2-3 so far.  Harrisburg up 3-2 in the 7th.

He has way too many pitches. He needs to get some 1 pitch outs, to stay in the game. you-know-who would make it really hard to yank him.

great play Zim/Belly. Lannan might go 1 more, 2 at the most.

Unless Lannan gets some quick outs, it looks like we will be turning to the bullpen in the 7th.

crap, if Lannan is facing history, how do you leave him in with 120 pitches? I don't think you can.

Carpenter just jinxed Lannan's bid for a no hitter! He does that all the time.
