The black uniform will be hot later in the summer.  Miami must have a gray road one also.

Free Lombo!!!

Why is Derosa at 3B? Yes, I've watched him play LF, up close from the LF stands at New Shea, and I could see that Derosa doesn't cover much ground. Sure, he doesn't have to run far at 3B, but come on, Davey!! Lombo is hitting!!!

Sanchez is an unstoppable beast against the Nats.

He should shut us out.

SF its not just the Nats, he's thrown a no hitter before and a lot of one hitters.

Solid pitcher.

Strasburg had better not give up any runs if we are to have a chance in this game.  Not one run...  :'(

"...and maybe this surprise start is just what Dersosa needs to get his bat started".

Strikes out looking on next pitch.

FP says " ".

Jesus, you're good.
Roarin Storen created the Strasburg K in 2010 for his debut.

Notice how Ramirez argued the call with the ump and did NOT get thrown out.  Zim-with-1-N DID slam his helmet to the ground, AND threw his bat angrily about a week ago, and did not get tossed either.
 ;)
I think the umps were told in the off season that batters are mostly mad at themselves for striking out, so to be lenient with them.

Yes he is, 3.70 Career ERA pitcher but 2.06 ERA against the Nats. That is serious ownage.

I'm watching on TV so as to switch to the Caps game. It sure feels like rain, and the trees are starting to stir like a storm is coming. I hope it waits until late so as not to interfere with the DirecTV signal!

Ramos should have had that pitch.  Runner advances.  Let's hope this doesn't come back to hurt us.

I watched Sanchez games against other teams last year to see if he was as good against everyone else because he was so dominant against us.   It's not even close.  He's not nearly as good against everyone else as he is against us.

Cather's interference.   He should be on second.  Ramos should have had that.
