Watching these bums on the mound, pisses me off even more at the Lerners.  Rivera should have cut loose in the offseason and replaced by somebody adequate.  Good is too much to hope for!

And Hanrahan should have been our 3rd or 4th option for closer, not the first!

The Lerner philosophy on good pitching: We need good pitching like we need a hole in our pocket.

CAPS score!

That environment at Verizon Center shows what happens when you put a quality product out there to watch. Winning means everything.

Rivera needs to be released. Hanrahan needs to be put out of his misery as well.

More PROOF that the Lerners are betting on the team to lose: Acta and Claire should BOTH have been BURNED AT THE STAKE, last night.

GAME OVER.  WE LOSE.

The Nationals are now on a pace to
WIN 34 and LOSE 128 in 2009.

Now we have to hope New Jersey wins so we're playing the other team that played 7 games rather than a team that's been resting.

That, and Pittsburgh seems to pwn us every time we play them in the playoffs...

...though the NHL would love to have the Caps playing the Penguins.

I know this is a Nats board, but I gotta say this.  Ted Leonsis needs to give Varlamov an extension RIGHT FREAKIN NOW!!!  THERE is your goalie for the next 10 years! PERIOD!!

vintage Manny Acta in the presser. Just slobbering over the Phillies' team and offense.

Lannan very short and snappy in his responses to reporters.

he's clearly not happy with this losing.

It's all good. Most of us here love the Caps too.

It's like asking if you'd rather be shot with a .44 or a .357, it doesn't really matter since both will kill you anyway.

it doesn't matter they both suck balls.

and cintron was probably cheaper to carry so the lerners phoned in the front office demanding to keep the cheaper options.

Tonight he can put a star by his name for the "Helped Lose" category
