Nice 1-2-3 inning by Detwiler.

I'm ignoring Willie as no manager on planet earth would actually play him at 3B for any non-injury reason.

Michael Morse has splinters in his ass.

We are lucky to be behind only by 2!

Batista, Slaten, Peralta, Balester, Burnett,Capps.  I sure hope we don't have to use all of them today.

He asked to start a day game after a night game, and again has a great CS%, and we know he doesn't call too many fastballs

Well it's great we judge a catcher's merit upon his CS.

It's not just calling fastballs too often, it's relying on them too often.  And whoop-dee-doo he volunteered to catch a day game after a night game - they're going home and have a day off tomorrow.

It's been said that he's not that great a catcher to throw to for sinkerballers and the like because he doesn't block balls in the dirt worth a damn.

But don't worry, he's got a great CS and doesn't call too many fastballs.

Outs (when we're on offense) are so easy to get but when we're on defense, getting outs is like giving birth.  Like giving birth to the 16 pound babies that make the National Enquirer.

If we use them all means we are behind.

People were saying that his CS rate was because of too many fastballs; he calls too much offspeed stuff. It's legit.

He's 38, that explains the blocked balls. The team needs a catcher to take 50% of the games from Pudge, that's the real problem.

He said if you don't want to keep the Expos in the Nationals record book, you're not a fan of baseball.

Our draft position will probably improve weekly for the rest of the season.

He's a freaking moron for saying that. There is nothing wrong with separating the two.

Then how do you explain early in his career?  That was one of his biggest criticisms in Texas and he never bothered to correct it - translation:  he's lazy.  He never had to worry about being a good defensive catcher because he hit well and threw out runners (all not that legit if you ask me since he was clearly on steroids...).

The Orioles series doomed the Nationals.  The Astros series doomed the Nationals.  Playing on the road doomed the Nationals.  Having a mostly AAAA pitching rotation (AGAIN) doomed the Nationals.
