I know the Steelers are flying into Newark in the morning for the Giants' game.   My buddy and I (before they canceled the marathon) were wondering how you justify it.    Nine eleven and Kennedy's assassination (examples) were localized as far as physical  "damage" goes.   Thus, I could see playing in a particular locale during those days.    Sandy beat the hell out of NY and NJ and still is.    I'm a die-hard fan but there's an aroma to this.

The officials sure do want the Giants to win. 4 absolutely terrible calls all go the Giants way, directly result in 14 New York points.

Thanks, Rog.

Operation "win one for NYC after Sandy" in full effect.

As a NYC resident, I'm disgusted.

I didn't even think of that. Do you think? If that's the case, this was a bad week for the Jets to have a bye.

All jokes aside, NFL refs are awful in general. The crew doing the Redskins/Panthers game was absolutely awful.

Happen in NYC after 9/11, happened for the Saints after Katrina, happening now.

Surprised they aren't going to review that drop and rule it a catch and fumble. Or that sack. Seems prime for Leavy to give the Giants the ball.

Another "fixed" call?

Should've still caught that.

Giants should just throw it up every play, they'll get every one of those calls all night. That one was definitely a penalty. 1 for 5 is a pretty good percentage for officials.

Now they're trying to disguise the "fix" by calling a petty penalty on the Giants.

Giants have more yards thanks to Steelers penalties than they do on their own.

Gotta even it out for the box score.

Goodell must be so pissed that kick went short.

Steelers completely dominated that half and should be up a score going into halftime, but the Rog can't let that happen when the "save NYC" storyline needs to be pampered to.

Down by four going into the half is great. We're playing really, really well all things considered. Offense looks real good.

Yep but (I'm biased) Steelers got hosed on a few of those calls in the 1st half.

At what point will Matt "16 Games" Forte get injured breaking his back freaking some skeeza or Lance Briggs get busted running a heroin ring and dash my dreams of seeing Jay Cutler Super Bowl MVP?
