another curve ball to end the inning.  :?

At least he got the call. I still have not a clue why he was afraid to throw his fastball in that inning.

that was such a nasty pitch.  mock, shell, hinckley, hanrahan are forming a nice bullpen next season.

sucks balester didn't have it tonight.

Don't blame Mock, please. He'd struck out 2 batters, he was given a bases-loaded, no-out situation and almost got out of it.
He put the first batter on that he faced. It was 2 on, no out when he came in.

All in all, not a bad job though. Only allowing 1 run is fine.

Yeah, no kidding.  It worked pretty damn well.  It probably had to do with scouting.  Randy Claire might've actually scouted the opposition well for once.

His fastball looked fine the few times that he threw it.

wtf was he chasing there?  :?

It's going to be real funny when their crappy BP shuts us down over the next 4 innings.

This team just doesn't have what it takes to fold like a cheap suit!  I just knew the Padres 5th run would be enough for a curly L for us!!!

Say HINCKLEY, is that JODIE FOSTER sitting in the stands?

Damn it, Manny heard me.  He's taking him out!
