We've never had a more complete hitter than Morse. Not even close

But Morse can't hit good pitching.

Typical. 2-0 count DP. Werth can go jump off a bridge. He strives to be even half as good as Morse

SF being a coward is paying off again. Had you taken me up on the bet you would've lost because Storen is going to shut the door on the Rockies.

Was it Riggs who said that?

How long do you guys think Morse can keep this up? I'm talking years, not weeks.

Soriano?  I guess he either struck out or went long (or bunted to first).

:lmao:  Nats crap on SF's face again!
I called that crap. You don't use your closer in the 9th at home when you are trailing.

And you don't walk RZ to face the best hitter in the NL

Was it Riggs who said that?

Blub Lipson used to say there were some in the Nationals FO who believed Morse couldn't hit elite pitching.

The difference between Morse and Zimm is that Morse hits for higher average but Zimm walks more than twice as much.  Zimm is the more complete hitter.  This year Morse has been pretty amazing though.

WTF are you talking about? You have repeatedly posted tonight that the game was lost and pissed away.

Hopefully next year we can see them both in the lineup for the whole year with a real leadoff hitter and Danny on base a lot in front of them.

What's going to be sick is if they deal Morse in the offseason. Have never gotten the feeling that Rizzo and the front office are big fans of Morse for some strange reason. Rizzo has no idea the caliber of player he has in Morse
