I'm talking about in majors

Well, it's reasonable to assume that if he was moved off the position before the age of 20, the organization doesn't believe he'd be a good fit now that he has filled out some more and lost even more speed.

Sure he can. He could go completely hit less.

Things can always be worse.

Marrero hit better in his stint than Moore is hitting currently.

And Moore hit better in his stint last year than Marrero did in his stint. What's your point.

My point is Tyler Moore sucks, call up Marrero

Guess this was the motivation he needed.

There seems to be a paradox here...

Good job yesterday by Tyler Moore sacrificing in the game winning RBI and then today hitting a home run.

I'm sorry but Tyler Moore is much better and that's the reason he's in the bigs.

No, it's not. He's in the bigs because Marrero got hurt last season. Otherwise Marrero would have been called up, not Moore.

I think Moore is a couple years older than Marrero.

Marrero has plenty of time to make his impact at the next level. Hopefully he makes it to the bigs through merit and not suckitude of others.

Marrero has zero power for a corner outfield or corner infield position.  Moore is the better player.  He needs at bats.

His .500+ slugging says differently. I guess everyone is ignoring that plus the fact he got big in the offseason while recovering from injury.

He is showing power early this season. He has had a couple of injuries and is still only 24. If his OPS sticks near this level for a length of time then it is definitely time to consider that he may again be a premiere prospect after many of us, including me, wrote him off.

I'll be following him closely this season.

Don't want to see him.  We know what he is.  Doesn't have the pop to play first or the outfield.  Let Moore play everyday.
you sure you want Moore playing everyday?

We need to flip Moore with Marrero ubtil Moore fixes whatever issues he has and starts hitting in AAA.

You could, but it would force Lombo to be the #5 OF.  I think with Werth and harper hurting we are not sending down a corner OF soon.

Complete mindfact but if Morse, Moore, and Dunn can play LF Marrero should be able to.

Looks like he's done. Twitter saying he was outrighted to AAA today. Also becomes free agent after World Series.

Is this a 40-man roster move? Protects someone else?

And probably, like most Astros, half-decent. 1.5 WAR a year or something.
