Thought it'd be nice to start a thread dedicated to this kid, as I think he's going to be very special.  Sounds very versatile, he can bat anywhere in the line-up, can hit for contact and power and is one of the last of the toolsy mold of the JimBo era (love the pick though jimmy).  So far he is on a blazing start in GCL action, I'm interested in how much he moves up this year.

What does everyone project out of Hood, when do you expect him to be MLB ready and do you think he moves up at all this season?

Hood: 6 games, .364 AVG, 1 HR, 2 2B, 8 RBI, 0 BB, 5 K, .391 OBP, .591 SLG, .982 OPS (as of July 2)

Ok how does he have a higher OBP with no walks? I didn't think FCs, or reaching on an error, counted towards OBP...
