Really tough. Okay, for today anyway, in no particular order:
1. Robyn Hitchcock - Goodnight Oslo
2. Miles Davis - Kinda Blue
3. The Libertines - Babyshambles Sessions
4. The New York Dolls - Cause I Sez So
5. Buena Vista Social Club

We've got two albums in common! (2,5)

Probably even more than that, but I could only list 5!

I've seen a lot of things on here that I like a lot. Especially a lot of the old metal and jazz.

I would say 1, 2, 3 and 6 are pretty indispensable.

If I could add another 2 disc set, it would be The Traveling Wilburys. I just love both albums.

Those were two of my five. Our desert islands must be next to each other.

Oh, WTF . . .

Graham Parker - Live Sparks (w/ Mercury Poisoning and I Want You Back)
The Clash - The Clash Hey  Ho Let's Go - Ramones Anthology (side one)
Bruce - Side 1 - Live from NYC
B-52s - Time Capsule The Grateful Dead - Fillmore East April 1971 - Side 3
Dwight Yoakam Live

A bit heavy on the live / greatest hit stuff.  Live Sparks is completely sentimental.  Graham Parker and the Rumour had some great stuff, and Mercury Poisoning is a great FU song to a former employer.
Edited to include a video of Graham Parker performing Hg Poisoning.  Note that I used to wear glasses like that (but my Jewfro was longer).   Cheated again to take side one of Ramones Anthology - over 30 songs, most about 2 minutes.

So far for the Dead we have American Beauty and one CD from Ladies and Gentleman.  We ought to open this to bootlegs.
