At this point, Buehrle could retire, and they'd still give him the award on a yearly basis.

Good to see Parra get it. He's a great defender in LF.

Maybe the Sox should have not picked up the Ortiz option, traded for Willingham to play LF, and used some of the Crawford money to make Beltre an offer. Youk, Gonzo, Beltre, and maybe Willingham could have rotated through DH (youk has played LF disastrously on occasion, but in Fenway, it does not matter too much).
