freak you Perez. He really thinks he's a good pitcher. He actually acts pissed and surprised when he gets rocked like an idiot.

9 hits and 4 walks allowed through 4 innings is gross.

If we had any offense at all though we'd still be in the game. Oh well, they blew their monthly load yesterday.

For all intents and purposes, this game is over.

A comeback is almost statistically impossible.

Kearns is brutal. He's not driving the ball at all.

Does anyone know in what percentage of our games we score more than 4 runs?

good job offense. I smell a CG SO for Dempster. It'll be 2 shut-outs in a row after Harden pwns us tomorrow.

34.9% or 45/129

You know its bad if Sutton is getting on them.  He is usually the one that manufactures excuses disguised as legitimate reasons.

horrible, why didn't Manny freaking take that punk out? No wonder the team is so dead and lifeless. With that piece of crap on the mound I don't see how you could keep your head in the game. Look at that wussy looking at his finger nails walking off the mound. If this team had any balls they wouldn't let him get on the plane back to D.C.

The sad thing is that we haven't seen the last of Perez yet.  :?  He acted like he had an injury to excuse this crap of an outing but he'll be "fine" come next Friday.

Same with Redding. His last start probably bought him a new contract. I could seriously see them bringing Redding back next year. That would suck.

That's an excuse to revive the "vindication" thread.

Good job by Mock, he has been solid out of the bullpen.

Manny was right, he is fitting in nicely to the clubhouse.

Willie just wee weed on the Cubs.  He is one of the few players that I hope they bring back for next season.

I really don't like Perez.  We need to package him and Redding for a nice first baseman.

I don't care if we win, but I need some runs to cover the spread.

This team is embarrassingly inconsistent. 13 runs one day, 0 the next. I believe someone called this in the game thread yesterday.

way out. Why don't we ever take advantage of hitting HRs in bandboxes?

horrendous game for Bonifacio. Can't even make freaking contact. He's got major issues.
