Wow if you look at the replay Zimmerman had just reached 3rd when Burrell fielded the ball.
Yeah, it wasn't even close.

Flores torched that one. Burrell is a dummy.

nice job, AH. This is sad. We are beating the hell out of Myers and have nothing to show for it.

Hernandez should have a career week, then he will get injured never to be heard from again.

Watch Flores open the second inning with a double.  :?
Almost!!  Tolman would have held the runners last inning with two outs so Burrell would have gotten a force out at second

Miserable.  Balester should just lay the bat out and hold it there, instead of this fake out crap he tries.

Let's see Flores at second.  It will take a triple to score him!

Nice Job Balester!!

The fake out crap is the Nationals strategy with pitchers bunting.

Why the F did EB just take another fastball right down the middle for strike 3? I'm convinced we'll never win again. This team just can't handle prosperity or success.

Remember Bernadino Jimbo!!  He wasn't ready for the majors as well.
Let Emilio have a couple weeks at Columbus before you ruin totally his confidence and then bring him back up in Sept.

It is almost impossible to get three hits and two errors in two innings and not score.  The Phillies will get a 3-run HR the first time they get two people on base.

well, people were complaining that he doesn't walk enough, so he's trying to watch more pitches.

can we all see that this is not the right strategy for him now?  he needs to swing and make contact.

The only people they are faking out are their fans.  We think they are going to bunt and the OOPS bad bunt, another out, same old.

 But seriously, we may win a few from here on out but 105 losses is a certainty.

I agree. The concept of forcing players take pitches is overrated. They just have to be able to hit.

Isn't it STUNNING that the Nationals couldn't take advantage of opportunities?  :|

How pathetic have we become that I would consider losing only 99 games a positive?  :bang:

I agree with this.  I think he is more suited to take an approach like Guzman.  While there will certainly be some downside (few walks for one), Bonifacio seems a better player when he takes the contact approach rather than the look-for-the-right-pitch approach.
