It's gonna take a terrible cold streak for me to talk crap about Nieves. I did enough of that earlier in the season, so I owe him.

I'm definitely not sold on him. THere is a reason why he has been a career minor leaguer.

I don't know about everyone else but I am excited to see Jesus tomorrow.

Watching him play in person may be the highlight of the night tomorrow.  :-[

I'd PH for him to lead off the bottom of the 5th.

I'd give him another inning.  No need to get into the bullpen this early.

I definitely prefer his bat over Nieves'. You know how lucky he is to be up here right now? It's pretty cool/odd how those things work out. Lo Duca and/or Estrada could have not been injured and played solid enough w/ Nieves as the backup, and Montz could have become the favorite in the minors. Instead, Flores could become the permanent starter for years to come now. Gotta love baseball. :D

Another thing I don't get, walking the pitcher.

If you can reach the strikezone from the mound, you should NEVER walk a pitcher.  A pitcher should hit a homerun off of you before you walk him!

Is Alan Greenspan banging Andrea Mitchell? If so, that's money for him.

Yeah, but the Fed will lower the discount rate before he can get to first base.  (Then the dollar will crash against all other currencies.)

The Nationals finally decided to offer single-game sales of the President's Section seats behind home plate, instead of let the nation see 80% of them empty all the time.

Wow, Tim is pissed.

Bergmann is pitcing tonight. He has given up 1 solo shot (1 run) through 3 so far.

It also looks like Judy Woodruff is sitting with Greenspan. Greenspan is a stud.

Might be his best ever in the Minors. It's definitely up there.

I don't know about everyone else but I am excited to see Jesus tomorrow.

Most people do that on Sunday.  You must be Jewish.
