Man I have no idea how I found it. Was bored one day on my lunch break and walked over to a Stein Mart to just walk around and pass some time. Came across it luckily.

Found it for like 15 bucks. Checked online for it and it was going for 60. Not sure if there are any more available. It could've been discontinued for a various amount of reasons. I love it though because it's absolutely obnoxious. I'm 26 and I've only seen one other person wearing it at Nats park and the guy was in his 50's at least.

I've seen that a few times in and around home matches.

I remember it now. I spent many of fruitless hour in pursuit of that shirt. Glad to see someone actually found one.

Nice. What's up OldChelsea? I remember you on the old Caps boards back before they ruined them. Diehard D.C. fan.

I think today goes a very long way in deciding whether or not Edwin Jackson is given extension by the Nationals.

Doubt it. That decision will be made based on finances and value. Not the results of a one game vacuum.

If that was truly the case... We can expect JZ to be packing his bags as soon as his contract expires because he didn't 'earn' a contract extension with his performance. But, as is the case with Jackson... FO's do not make contract decisions based off one game.

And I still am - the prospect of our first home post-season baseball match in 79 years has got me going!

The DC Sports Bog reports that Frank Robinson's ceremonial pitch is to be thrown sometime around 12:30. Seems awfully early, but I guess they have the formal player introduction ceremony and the like.

...mostly a lot of telly folderol, more than likely.

I still remember the 1992 World Series, with Game 1 set to start at 20.00 - but independent presidential candidate Ross Perot went and bought an hour of time on all networks, just before that match - so the telecast start time was moved to 21.00, the first pitch was at 21.40 and the final out was recorded sometime after 01.00...as in big-time US sports generally, it's the telly ueber alles.

Ok, I must be hallucinating - MLBN had Ross "The Boss" Dealmaya starting today instead of Jackson.  Did anyone else see this?!?!

I love these shirts! They make one for every MLB team. I also just turned 26, and I guess I'm now old enough to wear them.

If the Nats don't make the NLCS, I'll buy this shirt with the money I saved on not buying more playoff tickets.

Damn it all!  I'm going to be stuck at work all day and probably won't be near my computer to listen to the broadcast.  This sucks!

Just don't commit the sin of wearing an aloha shirt tucked in.

You can earn fashion terrorist brownie points by pairing the tucked in shirt with those zebra pants, the Elmer Fudd hat, rope necklace, and the Nationals flip flops.

Travel and lodging plans didn't quite work out for me to make it up for today's game, so I'll be here.

Today's my last full day at the office. Nobody's given me any work to do. I'm packing my things, looking up mattresses online, and getting excited for this game.

wow.  a half an hour without a comment, only 4 members on and 7 guests?  I think half the board must be at the game with a beer in hand so they can't even post via a mobile app.

Any pregame substance to talk about?  I posted some stuff on E-Jax's and Carpenter's stats v. current line ups on page 1 near the bottom.  http://www.wnff.net/index.php?topic=27940.0;msg=1142282 Any reaction?

Bueller?
