Does anyone agree the nats should send this guy down to the Syracuse, so he can get some regular at bats. Bring him back up a day before September, so he can make the post season roster     :poke:

Meh - all the guys in the Pen only threw one inning - Only Stammen won't be available tomorrow. Even Big Sexy could probably pitch tomorrow if there are extra innings.

Well Storen coming of an injury with spotty command and Burnett losing velo (though he was back up to 90 tonight) shouldn't pitch. Clippard would be 3 days in a row which I'm not a fan of. And Gonzalez has already pitched 3 days in a row. So really its Gorz (former starter, doesn't usually do consecutive days), Mattheus, and I suppose Storen or Burnett to close?

Yeah - I think you can make it work - extra innings would be a problem.

Storen & Burnett tomorrow
Mattheus and Clip the following day

I'm not particularly concerned about Gonzalez working consecutive days, even 4 in a row.
