This shows why we have the worst offense in baseball. If Dukes, who's batting .150, would have bunted Guz over to 2nd, or if Boone would have hit a fly ball a little deeper, we would be up 1-0. But since our offensive strategy is hit home runs and never "waste" an out by moving runners over ... we have the worst offense - four or five years in a row

another failed at bat - Boone had a man at 3rd with 1 out and couldny sac fly

Should we have run the squeeze play?

Lannan's all over the place.  He won't be around long today.  Already at 35 pitches.

Luckily we're facing a pretty weak offense today.

Lately he's had a few outings where he looks bad yet manages to work his way through it. I'd like to see more outings where he has his stuff working well if he's ever going to be considered a number 3 type of pitcher.

Repost here but Im trying to clarify something so please help a nat fan.
question here:
I went last night.  Stayed the whole time until they called the game.  Its says I can exchange it for a ticket of equal value for a selective game. Question I have is where do i have to go and exchange it?  Will it more then likely be for a weekday game?   Do I just show up down at the stadium with my ticket from last nights game?   The reason I care so much is b/c I had our firms seats and they were the $60 seats. I was bummed! Thanks.

There really is no reason why Wily No is drawing a pay check.

I'm 99% sure that you exchange them at any ticket sales window. Chances are you can exchange them for any non-premium games.

If they do, that's weird because how would they sell tickets to people at the last minute?

That may be so when the team is on the road but otherwise they're open until at least 8 when the NAts are in town.

Seriously, how much more evidence do we need that WMP can't play? I don't care if Langerhans has to start every game. WMP can't EFFING PLAY.

Yeah. He needs to warm up earlier or throw more pitches so he can come in the game throwing well.

Dude we have too many players you can say that about. We need a huge overhaul.

Dukes hasn't done crap either. If he were credited with a hit every time he yelled freak after an at bat he would be batting .687 though :?

Dukes batting 2nd is absolutely crazy.  The guy is the worst hitter by far on a terrible hitting team.

Milledge lacks natural baseball instincts and only experience and tons of work and coaching can help that.  :bang:

I think the fact that what Milledge lacks is VERY teachable eases my mind just a little bit about him.

it is just a matter of getting the right teachers in there, and Milledge showing the desire to learn.
