Song is one of my favorite players. He's going to have to have a great game today for Arsenal to have a chance.

Van Persie has been scoring like he's been in a brothel in EPL games lately...

Emirates looks totally different with those European ads along the side of the field (apparently placed over the digital apron one normally sees). I guess UEFA doesn't allow dynamic advertising at field level.

Damn, Messi...

Barcelona's through balls are insanely accurate and well-timed. Nice goal.

Who's playing left back for Arsenal today? He's doing a terrible job.

Hell yes. I was able to watch the game online. So many chances in the first half for Arsenal. I'm glad they managed to take advantage of them in the second half! Van Persie!!!

wow. saw the highlights. second leg might be interesting (actually it will be anyway) cuz barcelona will need to score two goals to advance.

They'll actually advance if they win 1-0 at home.

I prefer the way it is done here in CONCACAF, where there is no weighting of away goals...just straight home/away aggregate score.

They'll actually advance if they win 1-0 at home.

Yeah, Howard and Baines were both awesome in that game.

Is it me or does anyone else feel this waiting four years for the World Cup is bullcrap? I'd love to see them only have two years in between each.

The Euro championship, while not as big as the World Cup, is pretty significant...that will be in the summer of 2012.

Blackburn Rovers skipper Ryan Nelsen (on FSC right now, playing Villa) used to play for DC United.
