Hey Joebee .......  well, technically - Guzman did have an error.  And if his throw was on target, the ump wouldn't have blown the call.

That was one of the greatest games I've ever had the pleasure to watch.

I sort of know what you mean.  On paper it was a thoroughly boring blowout of a game....

...but for a Nats fan that's the best, rarest, most welcome kind of game imaginable.

It's really nice to see the guys get TIMELY hits.  They need to do that more often so that we can get back in the thick of this race.

Well, I'm sorry I missed out on the game fellas, but I had some other obligations of a higher calling to tend to (aren't women always a higher calling?) but it sounds like we had a great game offensively.  I'm really happy about that.  8-0 shutout?  Wow.  This is just the kind of momentum we need going into Philly.  Ken is right, the dream is a live in 2005!!! :D

Conversely, the performance of the Rockies had to be the most unclutch hitting in the history of baseball.  To get 13 hits and score ZERO runs has to be some sort of records.

...but as a Nats fan, I'll certainly take it!

Yeah, I was about to say, PC...you sound like you're complaining!

Today: the sweep.
