Trying to get these other wusses here involved.  Actually, sportsfan doesn't have an avatar to bet.  Chief, on the other hand, has a pretty kickass avatar.  Chief, interested?

I dunno, I kinda like my avatar.  I think I'll hold off for a juicier bet.

Toronto

Scutaro - 6
Hill - 4
Wells - 8
Rolen - 5
Lind - 7
Rios - 9
Overbay - 3
Barajas - 2
Tallet - 1

Washington

Guzman - 6
Johnson - 3
Zimmerman - 5
Dunn - 7
Dukes - 9
Bard - 2
Harris - 8
Hernandez - 4
Zimmermann - 1

Oddly...I like this lineup as much as I can with the current personnel on the roster.

Replace Bard with Nieves and I think with the current roster it's the best lineup.

This might explain why eagleskins hasn't been around much lately. He's been busy selling these at Wrigley Field.

Left-hander Scott Olsen will start tonight for Triple-A Syracuse in what could be his final rehab assignment.

Olsen is scheduled to pitch five innings and throw 80 pitches. If all goes well, he could be reinstated from the DL after the game.

Olsen has made two rehab starts, one for Potomac and the other for the Chiefs. He's 0-0 with a 3.00 ERA.

The left-hander has only pitched three innings in each start. In the most recent start, Olsen gave up two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out two.

In other team news, Josh Willingham will rejoin the team on Saturday. He took the full seven days allotted when he was placed on the bereavement list.

I think it's kind of funny but I figured, if anyone, you would be the one to see it as racist.

The Nationals have by far the worst record against LH starters this year at 4-13.

Looks like a loss.

How about trying something new for a change. Don't declare this game a loss before the fist pitch is even tossed and to get your masochistic fix tighten the barbed wire around your balls a couple of notches.  :?

sportsfan did you see that play in Philly last night where, I think it was Scutaro, took second base after being walked? I haven't seen that play since little league.

our offense has been cold lately and tonight they face lefty who they will likely struggle against.

The Cubs-Indians game is what scares me about every Nats game.  The Indians were up 6-0 and now the game's in extra innings, 7-7.  No lead is safe, period.  No lead is safe, PERIOD, when the Nats are winning.

Guzman should get fined 1K every time he swings at the first pitch and makes an out.

Do you enjoy watching Zimmerman or Kearns take first pitch strikes down the middle of the plate time after time?

What's his reward for getting a hit on the first pitch?
