I think that's the universe telling us that those runs were destined to be scored, interference be damned.

Only in that they both sucked when they got on the bump. Other than that, I'm sure they're life story is very different.

Broderick is a prospect, who's shown nice promise.  Sure, he's overwhelmed by the stress of reaching the bigs, but that's independent of his abilities.  Bruney?  Not a prospect, no future at all.

And you could improve your posts if you learned the difference between "they're" and "their".  "They're" is a contraction of "they are", which obviously doesn't fit in your sentence.

inexcusable pitching by slaten. Pathetic inability to throw strikes early in the count with bases loaded.

This blows. Whatever, tomorrow is the rubber game. 3-5 is better than 2-6, 1-7, 0-8. (still sucks  )

yes I know, half an inning left

We have got to get Broderick into the minors!  Of course, since we're in open warfare with the Cardinals (thanks, Nyjer and Tony LaRussa) they'll never make a trade with us.

Good night everyone...it's been yet another E.D. evening without viagra thanks to the NL East version of the Pittsburgh Pirates.   :?

if anyone is this year's bruney, it could be gaudin.

good 'stuff,' has a decent history of pitching at least ok.  but pretty much melts down every time once he's in the game for us.

broderick sucks

He is/should be a minor leaguer.  That's not the same as sucking.

He was also a starter in the minors and never pitched above AA. Can't be easy. Still, I think we should have sent this one back.

That's a bit harsh, he was brought in with the bases loaded and no outs, he was kind of doomed from the start.

Thanks. I know the diff. I just don't give a sh*t. This is not English class. And I was a journalist for 15 years. I actually used to write for a living.
