I haven't heard any release date as of yet for either. I would guess summer or fall of 2013.

Really think 1313 will be ready by then? I could see it launching on PC, then maybe with the next gen consoles

Bummed EA isn't bringing MVP back, but all the more reason for 360 to switch over

Just started getting into Red Dead Redemption. I got it used a few months back after hearing some great things about it. I really like the atmosphere (I enjoy the Western genre) and it seems well done. The only negatives that I have sound so far is that the horses/carriages drive like crap, and that glitches are not frequent but they are usually fatal. Either my screen goes black or the PS3 just freaking turns off.

Also got around to playing the used copy I got of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood too, pretty much the same as AC2. Great graphics, good voice acting, love the story.

Also has anyone played Max Payne 3? I love the story of the first two but I am afraid the 3rd one is the new Duke Nukem Forever considering how much time has passed since the release of the second game.

Reviews for Max Payne 3 have been good and a bunch of my friends really enjoyed it.  Currently playing Gravity Rush for the Vita.  Great game!

Uh ... MVP hasn't been out since 2005. Though I believe the rights for baseball games are up here soon. Or maybe I'm thinking of football

It's good. It can be frustrating. It's really only worth playing the SP campaign. So, i'd rent it for a weekend or something. Or buy it used at Gamestop and return it 6 days later.

Why do you say that? Did they announce it? I doubt they will but they still got time.

I'm really confused by that too. EA hasn't produced MVP since 2005. Which if you mod, is still a great game :)

A couple things that stood out to me:

Halo 3 over Halo.

No Star Control 2. No Master of Orion 1/2. No Starflight.

Tie Fighter not ranked high enough.

CoD 4 overrated.

Civ 2 underrated.

Words With Friends? Seriously?

The PC games are just all over the map.

The thing that confuses me the most is that EA attempted to buy out Take Two from the MLB rights about two years ago. That makes it seem like they wanted to get back into the market. I do understand if they don't since the next gen is right around the corner but I would NOT be surprised if they just mimicked MVP 2005, updated it, and sold it, and received a good income from it. Xbox fans haven't had a quality baseball game and are only losing more people to PS3.

Angry Birds at 49? Sorry, even if Angry Birds is a joke compared to plot and gameplay of modern console games, it's revolutionary nature can't be understated. It proved, and was the first, to really prove handheld tablet gaming was not only possible and could be popular, but it's ease of understanding and insane replayability plus the massive amount of non-gamers it drew in? Top ten in my opinion, plus it is a really freaking cool and incredibly original and well designed game. But the origination of tablet gaming, and for that matter, phone gaming, having a long lasting game open to even grandmas, can't be emphasized enough for its importance and innovation.

Granted, Plants vs. Zombies came first and did have a modicum of success, but Angry Birds is really the Rosetta stone for bringing gaming to tablets and non-gamers.
