What's CP?

College Park.   As in UMCP.

Boy, geography not really hitting on all cylinders for you today, huh?

This storm put on a great light show for quite awhile before the first raindrop.

Reminded me of 1967   ....

Is there a story behind Frandsen's helmet?

He was bringing up the possibility of the Cards and Nats clinching on the same day. THAT would be a confused Carpenter.

Why?   It's possible.   If our magic number is "1" and the Braves lose, we clinch.   Even if we lose.   Same for the Cards.  So, yes, both teams can clinch on the same day.

Bear in mind you're talking to an uneducated Englishman.  I thought he was wearing it during a house fire.

Lots of thunder lightning and pouring rain in Manassas!

Loudest thunder I've heard in a very long time.

Why?

Because Carpenter still has a really big soft spot for the Cards, so confused in that he'll have conflicted feelings.

They should just celebrate with champagne during the game if that happens.  Why have that bittersweet moment at the end of the game?

Put in the rookies, and enjoy chicken and beer in the clubhouse.

freak you Utley, enjoy the golfing.  And freak you phanatic, you bastard child of bread mould and a blow-up doll

The streets leading away from this Broad St vomitorium will be littered with feces and abandoned children after the game.  Let's wrap this up and get the hell out of dodge. Revolting place.
