I never liked watching him play. It was painful every time he faced a lefty and that sprint crap got tiresome fast.
He is a righty specialist. He is what he is. Most hitters are righties. He is reliable against righties in tight spots when they are the players who will not be pulled for pinch hitters or when you want to drive an opposing team to waste a pinch hitter. There was and is value in that. That said, I'd rather have Lidge and HRod for less. Good luck to him. May he ensure no wild card comes from the West.
