pitched around RZ to face Dunn

Zimmerman should have been swinging.  Selfish jerk

But seriously...  Dunn is definitely in a bit of a slump right now, but you're still a dumbass.

so sick. Greene hadn't even had an AB in any of the Cardinals' last 6 games. sat on the bench for a whole week without playing and then gets in the game against the Nats for 1 AB and hits a game-tying HR.

Neither Manny nor Riggleman fully understand the concept of defensive substitutions.  A one-run lead isn't really a lead with six out to go!

You need a five or six run lead before you go to defensive substitutions!  At least a grand slam's lead!

Agreed. Riggleman is no different than friggin' Manny in these situations.

why is Dunn out of the game? Belliard is not a first baseman.

Riggleman has made it a priority to give each player a role to play, even if only for a few innings a game.  It's paid nice dividends in getting Ronnie more interested in playing again, so I don't really have a problem.  Is he an upgrade over Dunn?  No, not a bit.  A better glove with more range, but obviously much less should he come to bat again.

subbing out for Dunn was a mistake on Riggles' part.

Top priority should always be making the right moves to win games. Pulling this "everyone deserves a role" crap don't fly in one run games against powerhouse teams.

I don't understand why he doesn't use the entire field all the time.

This. That crap sounds like little league. Riggs just want everyone to play so their parents don't get pissed.

terrible. Gonzalez's swing is trash right now. complete trash.

his whole set-up and stance and swing are all out of whack.
