30 years ago the last episode of M*A*S*H aired on CBS, still an all-time classic.

Oh man, I grew up watching that show, mostly the episodes running in syndication that were on channel 5 every night. But the show was still going even though a lot of the original characters/actors had moved on. I feel sorry for the noobs that that don't even know who Hawkeye Pierce is....

Hmm.  Top Gear Nile special part one acquired.  Now, to watch immediately or wait until next week for part two and watch all together...

In a 100% completely unrelated note, the 3D world view screen saver in utorrent is so cool.

It's decent. Not much that really hooks you for a pilot and it lacks what it could potentially have if it were on HBO or one of those channels... but it definitely is going somewhere. I'll definitely keep watching for now.

Damn. I grew up on that show. It's hard to believe it's been 30 years since the last one.

The link above is to Dan Aykroyd on SNL as Julia Child.  Save the liver!

They have a list of a top 25 of SNL sketches.  I'm still partial to the older stuff.  There is even a great Eddie Murphy - Joe Piscopo duet as Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra.

Top 5

5 - Julia Child
4 - More Cowbell
3 - Patrick Swayze / Chris Farley Chippendales audition
2 - Mick Jagger
1 - D!ck in a Box
