Group B was a nice draw for Arsenal...though Shalke can be a nag.  Generally not the top of the table in the Bundesliga but a nagy tough little team.

Fixture list for group stage: http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=2013/matches/index.html

---

Chelsea's home match against Nordsjaelland is on 5th December, during a time when I'm usually over there on my annual trip - I may actually attend that.

The Danes haven't properly raided SE England for well over a millennium

Wow, I had heard Liverpool.    Have to check him out.   When's he slated to arrive?

He'll be there for the next game (9/16 vs. Reading).

City won 3-1 today, but the defense still looks pretty bad.

Watched part of that.   Seems the QPR goal got their attention and they got better on both ends.   Thanks for the Tottenham info.

I just can't get used to watching Crouch.

USMNT got owned in Kingston.  Sounds like it was one hell of a fun game to be at though.

Can probably stick a fork in DC United...DeRosario is out with a knee injury for the next 3+ games.

United site says 10-12 weeks...looks like curtains for this season.

They're already a point out of playoff position and can't buy an away point to save their lives...pity because the season was starting out in such promising fashion.

That extra time was as fine a few minutes of soccer as you will ever see.   MC and Stoke City

DCU won three in a row

I think I;ve become a tottenham fan now that an american plays a big non goalkeeping role on a team with aspirations.  I actually cheered when they took the lead the other day

I finally went to a University of Maryland Men's Soccer game. I forgot how crazy the fans are. But the team is good and the games are fun to attend, I'll probably go a couple more times before the season is over.

I watched it like it was "live".   :)

I checked the Premier League site and it did indicate 9/29.   I was on the motorcycle all day yesterday and the only sports for me yesterday was   .....    Nats' baseball !

EDIT:    10:49 AM    Would have been better off not watching it.   Pretty bad exhibition of the game.   At least I got socks sorted.  :P

RvP is dead to me now.  Once a Gunner always a Gunner...until you pull on a Man U jersey (or pink cows...lookin' at you Thierry)

...   and he took the MU jersey off at the half to give it to a Gunner.   The Gunner apparently asked for it.
