You're just being polite, making the Marlins feel at home.

I was thinking the SAME thing!  Marlins fans watching might think it's a home game, from empty seats.
You can see the results of the front office's strategy of Screw-the Half-Season Plan holders and try to get more Full Season tickets.  They sold their Full season tickets in the two baseline sections, and the seats in the back, where they planned to dump the Screwed, are largely EMPTY.

Need to get the Prez and candidates to come here.

All unearned on that hit. Is Redding just lucky, stats-wise?

So embarrassing. Can't even get out the pitcher. What a horrific game by Redding.

There it goes. Redding is freaking pathetic. Release his sorry ass! ALL BECAUSE HE THREW A HANGING SLIDER TO AMEZAGA WITH THE PITCHER ON DECK.

Detwiler must have felt pretty damn uncomfortable during that inning.

The Nats are no better than the Marlins.  Both teams look like Minor League teams if you ask me.

This team LACKS a #1, #2, and #3 pitcher
Ramirez hits a 3-run homer.

Nationals 3
Marlins 7

Hey, whatever happened to Jeremy Hermida (OF)? Did the Marlins destroy him too? I remember all sorts of "underrated prospect" hype about him a couple years ago, and now they have this Amezaga guy playing instead.

He's coming off an injury, and will likely be activated for Wednesday's game.

Amezaga is a middle IF, actually a very good one, perhaps best known for breaking Jorge Posada's nose while turning a DP.  Cody Ross is the main CF, but Fredi won't start him against righties even though he has a .974 OPS against them.  He starts his buddy, Amezaga, who has a .704 OPS vs righties.  Of course, Fredi thinks Uggla should bat 2nd, when every other manager would have him 7th or 8th.

Yep, our rotation is full of border-line #4 and #5 starters.

They definitely have the ability to put runs on the board, but their pitching is the worst.

We're not supposed to have a #1, 2 or 3 pitcher. We're "rebuilding" ...   8)  :|

In related news, all those unearned runs mean my fantasy team will be ok this week.  :icon_mrgreen:

This game could end up getting in the 20s in total runs.

They gave Treanor a SB instead of an FC.  Unbelievable.  That's Treanor's first ever SB.

Florida will score 15 easily if Manny keeps Redding in.

This has all the makings of a disappointing season.  Not only do we commit physical gaffes (See Milledge, Lastings trying to catch a fly ball), but we are a dumb, dumb team.  Walks, past balls, errors, letting the 8th place hitter and pitcher beat us with the bat, etc.., Are we back to a 60 win team this year?

our starting pitching has always been suspect.

but we knew that coming in, didn't we?
