you go an early start - glad to hear we've got Sledge back, that should help us turn things around, but i'm worried about Bobby Bo.

I love that, that photo of Nolasco is from when they were playing in San Juan, at least according to the signage.

I broke out my Marlins hat in the hopes of awaking our bats.  With our luck it'll probably cause Mike "Dynamite" Stanton to hit four grand slams.

I predict a good outing by JZ. He seems so close and I sense he is putting it together. We could use the W. But, no, it's not a must-win.

Every game is a must win.

I would argue there are no must-wins when you have no shot of making the playoffs.

And I would argue you're wasting your time watching and/or playing the game if you don't go all out every game.

I don't think any game is a must-win for a non playoff team but I do believe that players should always play their hardest.

Still not convinced of Zimmermann's holiness. He is racking up the losses and that ERA is climbing and there are a bunch of stats (that Linty likes to point out) that he really isn't excelling in to be successful. Will he be a good pitcher? Probably. A back-up to Strasburg? I am losing that faith.

They're comparing us to 100-win teams because of the 30-game 5+ IP starter streak :|

Yep. What's really worrying me is that Zimmermann seems to have that bona fide beast stuff that was promised to us, but he doesn't pitch like a beast. He's going after grounders and trying to nibble and be deceptive and clever, rather than just beating the crap out of opponents. The result is a mediocre player.

And the reason for that is coaching.  Fire them all!!!  :old:

For those of you using Gameday tonight, I wouldn't trust it as I'm questioning its accuracy.  Their graphic of the stadium shows a fair number of fans in outfield upper deck seats.
