Both Dallas Braden and Philip Humber have pitched perfect games and neither have the raw talent of Homer Bailey.

Reread my last sentence.  The firings are contextual.  The fact is they're finishing off another trainwreck of a second half.  In that context, if you're going to get no-hit, it had better be to the second coming of Nolan Ryan.

Homer Bailey ain't the second coming of Nolan Ryan.

...also, getting no-hit in a game where YOUR pitchers only give up one run is just another contextual turd in the punch bowl.
