Yeah, I got no problem with this one being included in this thread. This has been ugly. One good thing if they pull it out..an ugly win is still a win.

Surprised this hasn't been bumped yet.   Today might be the real winner...

Yeah, the offense did a great job of coming from behind.

Glad this was bumped.  An absolute piss poor performance last night/this morning.  Sick to my stomach.

They were shut out for the last 4 innings after the Espinosa homer, right?  No killer instinct.

Well, maybe that's not the right phrase.  No desire to feast on carrion.

  • We had 'em all the way.
Based on where the Nats' are in the standings, etc., it felt like the worst (or one of the worst).    Sucked all the air out of the room.   Rebound today for 8 runs and all is forgiven.

No question saturday was the worst.  It seemed like every bit of good contact died on the warning track or was tracked down.  Werth hit one I thought was out for sure, and then there was a ball into the RF corner that I think RZ hit that was tracked down with a great catch.

You know, sometimes the other pitcher is just really good.

JCA also hit upon some good defense.   It still sucks.  :)
