of course they score.. Chico almost serves up a HR to a #8 hitter.  Great catch by Maxwell though

good range by maxell. I'm starting to warm to the idea of him getting a shot to start next year over Logan (assuming we don't sign/trade for a CF).

Double by Pelfrey.. Damn the Mets own Chico.  They killed him a week ago and it looks like they are going to again tonight

I warmed up to it a while ago.  Maxwell WILL start over Logan, no matter what.

wow, completely lame.. What is Jimenez swinging at the first pitch for?? The main reason our offense is the worst in baseball is lack of patience.

Again, I think Nationals want to be out of the game before MNF starts, though it doesn't make as much since tonight since the Redskins aren't playing.

good range by maxell. I'm starting to warm to the idea of him getting a shot to start next year over Logan (assuming we don't sign/trade for a CF).

what was good about that catch was the ease in which Maxwell caught it. what that shows is that although he doesn't have logan's pure speed, he has good range, and is capable of taking good angles and making good judgements on the ball.

like I said about Andruw Jones yesterday...Jones may be slow and fat, but there are balls that other CFers have to hustle full-speed to get to and you can tell that they are going all-out to get to the ball, that Jones just casually glides over and catches with what looks to be minimal effort.

Maxwell just had one of those Jones-esque catches.

that's a good sign, imo.

Why?

Because we're not there because of US and FOX cancelled the only of our other games that they were supposed to air.

F' 'EM!
