No, the Nats were quite the opposite.  Booker is freaking ridiculous.
Booker is freaking awful but he should have never been in the game.  The game should have been won in the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th..... the offense is just so embarrassing

The horse has decomposed.  So there's no horse to kick.

I know someone who is a bigger disgrace.  Jesus, how can you all sit here and listen to that rot about the home team?

These guys played their guts out tonight.  Hell, they've been scrappy all season long, against the odds, against the critics, and apparently against even some of their own fans.

I tend to agree with 2K6's assessment.  Booker really shouldn't of been put in there but then again, who you got left to call?

Disgrace?  Far from it.

Great news, that worthless piece of crap Booker is being sent down immediately.  Manny also said that Flores will start tomorrow.

There ya go!

Again, Philly's Rowand is a free agent in 2008, and will look good in a Nationals uniform, replacing Langerhans AND Nook-at-Night.  Rowand is batting .330 with 14 HRs, 56 RBIs.

DAMN RIGHT ... I'm proud of these guys - would have been so easy to just mail it in in the bottom of the 10th - they battled - the pen was terrific - terrible umps - fly balls off our bats -  bouncing off walls instead of over them - no close calls going our way - that's baseball - good thing is we have less than 12 hours to even worry about it - another game tomorrow - I expect our guys to be ready  and play hard - they always do ...

I'm just going to send this thread off with this.  Regardless of the outcome, which was horrendously heartbreaking, our guys battled hard.  And in a sense, so did we.  This gameday thread shatters any other gameday thread; we hung in there with our guys until the game was over.  Tomorrow, it's John Lannan vs. Adam Eaton at 1 pm.
