who gives a freak? 6 scoreless innings is 6 scoreless innings. Everyone dogged him and said he was a 4.50-5.00 pitcher. those are the ones I am laughing at.
I don't know if you realize this but the season isn't over yet.  His ERA is temporarily lower after facing a crape team.  Well good for him!

GTFOHWTBS.

Lannan walked SIX BATTERS. if it were Cabrera you'd be all over his ass about it, even if he didn't give up any runs.

shut the freak up with this crap.

in fact, I am pretty sure that this DID happen.

Cabrera DID walk 6 batters, but still turned in a quality start, and you ripped him to shreds about it, Sportsfan.

show some consistency. Lannan pitched like crap and benefited from some timely good defense.

and good pitching. he had to make pitches to get out of those jams too. it wasn't his best start obviously but the results speak for themselves.

would have preferred him to bend over and give up 4 or 5 runs?

then the next time Cabrera walks a crap-ton of batters, unless he gives up 4 or 5 runs, you STFU about it.

Lannan wasn't half as bad as Cabrera was in most of Dcrab's starts this year. Crab was hitting batters and throwing wild pitches. we have also lost every single one of those games that he has pitched in too.

why can't you guys just appreciate a young pitcher's 6 scoreless innings?

The Nats are NO LONGER the worst team in baseball.  Cleveland is 11-20.
Washington is 10-18.

Washington is now on a pace to
Win 58 and Lose 104 in 2009.

Haven't you ever seen Spaceballs?

Yeah I've seen it but I don't recall that line.

you don't get it.

I appreciate the 6 scoreless innings, probably moreso than you do.

6 walks is 6 walks, regardless of whether it is Lannan or Cabrera throwing them. Lannan's six walks aren't somehow magically better than Cabrera's six walks.

i'm going to keep calling you out for your favorite-playing every time you do it.

so it's been FOREVER since I've been on here...it's mainly b/c I haven't had the time to really watch baseball BUT I'm back and what more appropriate time than when the Nats have won 5 of 6 :D

What bandwagon?  We are all behind Lannan here.  There just seems to be a bit of variation about how good he can be.

I happen to think he'll be somewhere in between what you and spidernat are saying.
