Not you again with your negative outlook on the game  ;)

My negativity is reserved only for the incredibly inept umpiring crew

It's all good. Hill struggled a little with his command and got dogged by a lucky bloop single. He'll regroup and comeback strong.

terrible.. David Wright is the luckiest hitter in baseball.  Can he hit a line drive?

game over. 1 run is too much to ask from this lineup.

shawn is getting way too many popups.

OK I'll bite and be the voice of reason today  Relax guys. We'll score 6 runs today and Hill will hold them down for the next 6 innings.

Yeah ... I'm not worried about Shawn ... now that bats ... well ... that's a different story -- maybe we'll get the bad el duque and they'll bust out today??

That should've been strike 3.

BTW, it looked like Lopez could've been safe last night on that bunt if he had run through instead of sliding head first, am I right? We didn't get a replay at the game last night.

Well considering Shawn's walk should have been a stikeout too - maybe the ump will suck for both teams ...

Typically, you would always reach first quicker by running than diving - but if you watch the replay - Felipe took off on his dive WAY short of first base - so it's really hard to say ... I liked the hustle -

Hmm Austin out, hits by the throw from El Duque, it seems a bad throw.
Left, right, whatever.

That's such BS considering the base is in fair territory.

Anyway, we really are unlucky. Wright gets BS bloop hits that create runs and we hit hard shots that find the pitcher's foot and leads to an out.

That is exactly what happened in san fran in the overtime game - but of course that runner was safe and cost the Nats the game -

Schneider should've thrown the ball right at the back of the player which is what Hernandez did there and probably on purpose.
