Best SS in MLB not named Tulowitzki(who benefits from playing half his games in Coors).

Ian Desmond would have 900 homers a year at Coors according to advanced metrics.

DYK: Ian Desmond has the second most plate appearances in Nationals history with 2206? He only trails leader Ryan Zimmerman by 2414 PA's.

Desmond is one of the nicest and most genuine dudes, not just in MLB, but on earth.

He has always been just that with us...outgoing and caring.  He's the favorite in our home...

I'd love to have another throwback game like last year. I missed it and was hoping they would do it again.

Love Ian. Not just because he reminds me of Channing Tatum...but he's a feel good story...he was a guy everyone wanted to give up on. And it looks like last year was not a mirage. Never met him, but he also seems like such a great person, not just a great teammate. The Nats have some great character in their clubhouse.

I submitted ~500 votes today. Gonna try to keep that average up until the voting closes. His chances aren't looking too good.

Because they've been a scoring machine since he was moved there? You tend to measure things more by how much they bother you than by objective evidence, don't you.

Love Desi, but he has no business hitting 2.  Not sure why in the hell Davey is sticking with this lineup.  Get Werth up there to see more pitches for everybody, and drive up the pitch counts.  Let Desi drive guys in.

To be fair he has been saying this even after the games we've scored a bunch of runs in.

It's important to be fair, but it doesn't change my point at all.

(Image removed from quote.)

That is so weird. Who would bother to do that in the middle of a game?
