Welch - you caught yourself by noting he has more power than Brinkman.  For fun, I looked up Brinkman's home run total.  In a 15 season career, he had 4 season with more than 6 home runs, which Espinosa had in his first month.  Brinkman hit 7, 7, 8 and 14.  Also, Brinkman had more than 2 steals in a season only twice, while Espinosa is supposed to be a good base stealer.  But you might be onto something in terms of his defense and, unfortunately, batting average.

Ahh, letting the ball play him instead of playing the ball. Good stuff, DPM.

He's splitting hairs. Ian Snell was the starter for the Pirates a year before Kinsler.

There's also Ian Kennedy. There were 2 Honuses, but only one put that name on his card.

Cirilo Cumberbatch was the second Cirilo to play in the minors.

I'm still eagerly awaiting the first Lint to play in a major league baseball game.

Sadly, we're a small bunch... so it might take a while.

I guess I'll just have to settle for getting Lint added to the name database in MLB The Show.

Went to school with a guy who went by "Lint."  Short for Linton.  But then I'm a Yalie.

We're originally Lindt, but americanized it by dropping the 'd'.

And yes, PA, that's a very german last name.

Please don't hate me.

:lmao: I've been to Germany many times and I'm friends with lots of Germans. I think it is a wonderful place to visit, the people are very hospitable and friendly.

They should put all the Ians on one team. This was like my proposal last offseason for the Nationals to acquire every single player whose last name started with Z.

C Gregg Zaun
2B Lance Zawadzki
3B Ryan Zimmerman
RF Ben Zobrist
SP Jordan Zimmermann
SP Carlos Zambrano
SP Barry Zito
SP Victor Zambrano
RP Clay Zavada
RP Charlie Zink
RP Brad Ziegler
DL Joel Zumaya

Essential players remaining could change their names, ie, Stephen Zasburg, Josh Zillingham, Zoger Zerzadina.

How dorky is it that I love hearing them say 'Sweeney' when I play my superstar pitcher on The Show?

By the way, I'm changing my last name legally, any suggestions?  Right now I'm considering Logan.

Asher.  It doesn't sound ethnic but it was one of the tribes.  Benjamin is another.  Just stick away from Issachar.
